—
Eric started his career as a 2D animator at MTV on Beavis & Butt Head and then moved to LA to work on King of the Hill & The Simpsons. As Academic Director of Game Art & Design at the Art Institute in Santa Monica, he created the Game Wizards Video Game Production Team program and launched a new degree program in Game Programming.
He played a very active role in coaching and mentoring his students to get their dream jobs in the industry.
His graduates have been placed at some of the biggest names in the game industry including: Electronic Arts, Sony Santa Monica, Activison/Blizzard : Treyarch, Neversoft, Infinity Ward to name a few. He now offers his services as a Video Game Career Coach.
He also worked at studios like Legend in Hollywood where he was instrumental in developing the CG pipeline for animation & VR.
His revolutionary Game Wizards video game training program, which has helped launch the careers of some of the top talent in AAA games today, turns 16 years old this year and he is gearing up to launch the next version of the program as a XR laboratory that will be available to colleges, universities and training centers internationally.
